Transom is a Mac app that lifts the messages that matter out of the daily flood of notifications and holds them at the top of your screen. You pick your VIPs (a spouse, a boss, a client) and their texts and emails pin there until you deal with them, while everything else stays quiet. Verification codes appear ready to copy, media controls tuck out of the way, and one switch silences the noise without going dark on the people you can't afford to miss. It runs on any Mac on macOS 14 or later, with or without a notch, and every display gets its own setting. It reads your Messages database locally: no server, no account, no usage analytics. Transom is $29 once and is built by a solo founder in the open.

Wilton E. Blake, II is a Cincinnati marketer and recovering attorney who has run his own agency for 17 years. Transom is his first software product, built solo, in the open, because he kept missing the one message that mattered.
