Automation posts can now say that they matter.

·A new optional priority field on the local API. Send "priority":"urgent" and the card comes through a Focus instead of waiting in the digest. A finished build can keep waiting; "the drive is unmounted, safe to unplug" cannot.

·Urgent posts still respect the modes that promise more than quiet. "VIPs and codes only" promises people, and "Nothing gets through" promises silence, so both continue to hold them.

·The field works only on the token-protected HTTP door. Anything arriving through a transom:// link stays normal priority, so a web page that can open a URL can never pierce a Focus you turned on deliberately.

·Urgent cards keep the automation badge that marks every scripted post, and gain the orange edge flash the battery warnings use.

Two fixes for things that were misbehaving quietly rather than loudly.

·A card set to appear in the centre of the screen no longer throws the notch open beside it. If you had cards routed to the centre, the panel could swing fully open whenever your cursor rested near the top of the screen, because Transom was asking whether a card existed rather than whether it was being drawn there.

·Crash reporting stops flagging the system's own stalls as app hangs. The threshold moved to four seconds, which still catches a freeze you would actually notice while ignoring pauses that happen inside macOS rather than inside Transom.

Transom now watches every mailbox you keep instead of one, and macOS Focus is the only thing that switches it.

·Focus is the only switch now. The mode submenu, the ⇧⌘F shortcut and the Preferences picker are gone. Turn on a Focus and Transom follows it. The menu bar item became a readout that tells you which Focus is running and what is getting through.

·The four settings are named by what they let through: Everything gets through, VIPs codes and anything urgent, VIPs and codes only, and Nothing gets through. Same four behaviors, names that say what they do.

·Transom no longer touches macOS Do Not Disturb. Turning on a Focus already silences your Mac, so the second switch was doing nothing except giving you two things to keep in step.

·Archive works on servers that do not advertise a special Archive folder. On iCloud the button marked the message read and dismissed the card as though it had worked, while the message stayed in your inbox. It now falls back to the folder named Archive, which is where Apple Mail puts things.

·Archiving one message can no longer affect another. On servers without MOVE, the fallback path could clear out every message in that inbox already flagged for deletion, not only the one you archived. It is now scoped to the single message.

·Open in Mail works on every provider. The button was hidden everywhere except Gmail, and the link it built split the message ID in half.

·Closing a card closes the whole overlay. Clicking the X used to open the panel underneath the cursor that had just dismissed the card, so ending one interruption produced another.

·Every mailbox, one lane. Add Gmail and app-password accounts side by side, and Transom merges them: the sender decides what pins, never the account. Each card names the mailbox it arrived in.

·Mark Read and Archive act on the mailbox the message actually came from. A card from work never touches your personal inbox, and the Archive button now says which mailbox it's about to act on.

·Sign out of an account and the saved credential is deleted from your Keychain, not just forgotten until the next launch.

·Flaky connections stop looking like broken accounts. A mail check that stalls now retries on its own, and a brief network drop no longer flips the account into an error state on its way back.

·An external display dropping out and reconnecting no longer hangs the app. Display changes are coalesced instead of each one rebuilding the panel.

·The panel fits your display. On an ultrawide it grows to match, the file shelf holds more, and moving your cursor down a full panel no longer collapses it halfway.

·Storage failures speak up. If saving a credential or your license hits a Keychain error, Transom tells you and keeps retrying, instead of failing silently and letting you find out later.

Transom stops drawing a notch on a screen that never had one, and repairs its own crash recovery when macOS quietly drops it.

·Every display gets its own setting: Quiet, Tab, or Off. A MacBook notch is dead pixels, so filling it costs you nothing. A monitor has no notch to fill, so Transom now leaves the top of that screen alone and shows up when you hover, when a card arrives, or when you drag a file up there. Preferences, General, Displays.

·If you want a permanent marker back, Tab is narrower than the old one and tinted to sit in the menu bar rather than on top of it. The spot you hover to open Transom did not move or shrink either way.

·Crash recovery repairs itself. macOS can drop the registration that lets launchd restart Transom after a crash, and when it does it says nothing, because the setting still reads on. Transom now asks launchd directly at every launch and puts the registration back when it is missing.

·Setup no longer shows a notch to people whose Mac does not have one.

Three fixes found by running Transom on a brand-new user account, the way a customer meets it for the first time. Two of them were invisible on a Mac that had already granted its permissions.

·You can grant Contacts access now. The VIP picker was asking for it, but Transom was missing the entitlement macOS requires to even raise the prompt, so it never appeared in the Contacts list and there was no way to switch it on.

·VIP email reaches you in Triage and in VIPs only. Email had been held as low-priority in every mode except Everything, including the mode named VIPs only. Transom only ever raises a card for a sender you added yourself, so email now follows the same rule as a VIP text: it comes through unless you are in Silent.

·The you-are-back summary counts properly. Moving between two quiet modes used to reset the tally while the held cards stayed held, so it under-reported what it had kept from you.

Sign in with Google, so connecting Gmail no longer means generating an app password. The rest of this release is a pass over things that were quietly not working: meeting alerts losing to all-day events, Bluetooth batteries reading zero, and panels opening a screen away from your cursor.

·Sign in with Google. Gmail connects over OAuth now, so you no longer have to generate an app password. The app password path still works if you prefer it.

·Meeting alerts stopped getting crowded out. All-day events were filling the short list the scheduler read, so a real meeting could pass unannounced. Timed events now outrank all-day.

·Per-category card sounds, so a VIP text and a login code no longer sound the same.

·Bluetooth battery levels for your keyboard, mouse, and headphones, on a card that now sits at the top of the battery panel instead of below the fold.

·Bluetooth levels stop reading zero. macOS reports real values early in a session then zeros for the same connected device, so Transom keeps the last known good reading.

·Preferences and the battery panel open bottom-center on whichever screen your cursor is on. Parking at the right edge made sense to dodge the notch on a laptop, but on a superwide it was a hike.
